Issue One

What is a TCK? A TCK is a Third Culture Kid. A kid who is from one country, and goes to live in another culture. By doing this, they create their own culture. A third culture, that is a mix of two cultures.

Famous TCK’s

There are a lot of famous people who were once TCKs. This month’s person is Barack Obama

In his childhood, Barack Obama lived in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. He lived there when he was 6-11 years old, the same age as many of you. He was the 44th president of the United Sates, and was the first US black president.

If you have a favorite TCK that hasn’t been featured in The TCK Times yet, email us at tcktimes@gmail.com
