Tomorrow, February 17th, is Random Acts of Kindness day. I think that this is something great to celebrate and share kindness with those around us. I have a list of ideas here of things that you can do for Random Acts of Kindness Day, some of which I will be doing myself. I hope that you guys use some of these ideas in your life to be kind to those around you.
- drop coins in random places for people to find
- write a letter of encouragement to someone who really needs it
- stick encouraging post-its on bathroom mirrors
- make breakfast in bed for someone
- read a book for a little kid
- slip nice notes into library books
- give a stranger a compliment
- bake cookies for someone
- befriend the new kid (or lonely kid)
- pick up bits of trash that you see on the ground
- take time out of your day to listen to someone
- smile
