how to stay positive during this global pandemic 💛
Hey everyone!
In today's post I'm going to talking about how to stay positive and see the best in things during this global pandemic. I know that it's really hard to stay positive with all this coronavirus and change going around, but let's try to make the best of it!
1. Listen to positive and uplifting music
- I love music; in my opinion, it's one of the best things ever created. It's a great way to escape from the world and just relax. But sometimes we tend to listen to sad and depressing music and that can put you in a sad mood. Music can really change the way you see things, and when you're surrounding yourself with sad music it's really easy to feel sad. If you guys would want a post about my favorite happy and uplifting music, I would love to make a post about it!
2. Limit your media intake
- Limiting how much time you spend watching the news, listening to the radio, and scrolling through social media can help restore a sense of normalcy while reducing your sense of dread. This doesn’t mean putting your head in the sand, but being knowledgeable and respectful of your own emotional and psychological limits. I think that it's good to take breaks from social media, I'm actually taking a break myself. I think it's easy to look on social media and compare ourselves to others. You see all these people doing things you wish you were doing or going places you want to go. And once you see that it makes you sad and jealous. And of course I'm no saint I struggle with this as well, that's why I'm taking a break from social media right now!
3. Spend time with the people you love
- A lot of us TCKs are quarantined with our families, so I encourage you to spend time with them, whether y'all are playing games, watching TV, or just sitting in the same room doing your own thing. At least your spending time with them and surrounding yourself with people. Now I know it's hard sometimes to be with your family members and trust me, I feel the same way. But you can at least do your part and be with them and care for them.
That's all I have for today! I hope you take this in and see that staying home isn't all that bad! Stay safe and wash your hands! I hope you enjoyed this post! If you want more articles like this then make sure you email us at tcktimes@gmail.com
