COVID-19 TCK Interview: Skylar
Hey everyone! Today, I'm interviewing Skylar, a TCK currently living in Thailand. Everyone's experiences with this virus will be different, but we are trying to give you a peek into other people's lives and what they're going through. I'd like to thank Nayeli from 2nd Gen. TCK for coming up with the questions for the interview, which she used on her blog when she interviewed Kasey. If you haven't checked out 2nd Gen. TCK, go check it out now by clicking on the link. Nayeli blogs about all sorts of things like self care ideas, dealing with loneliness, and her summer bucket list. Now, let's read about Skylar tell us about what is happening in her life
regarding COVID-19.
*This article was written a few weeks before it is published, so things may have changed by now.*
1. Describe the situation in your country right now regarding the coronavirus.
It is better than I expected in Thailand. We are social distancing and just staying home. Some people are working at their offices but most are working from home.
2. How are you feeling about it?
I feel like they are doing a good job, but I feel like we could have at least had a few classes at school, as my school has gone online.
3. How has COVID-19 affected your life?
I have had to do online school instead of go to my school, and I'm at home with my siblings all the time now.
4. What are some precautions you've been taking?
I've been wearing masks and washing my hands well.
5. What is daily life like right now? How have you been spending time?
We usually workout, then do school but thankfully school is almost over. I've been working on my blog to get it ready to publish.
6. Do you have any routine changes?
Except for not going to school, nothing has really changed
7. Have you learned any new skills in your extra time?
I have not really learned any new skills, but maybe songwriting.
8. What is the first thing you'll do when social distancing is over?
I will get together will my friends.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this. And I hope you liked hearing about what it's like for Skylar and her family right now during COVID-19. Thank you all, and remember to share the TCK Times with your friends & family! Please email us at tcktimes@gmail.com if you have any suggestions or questions for us (or if you just want to say hi)!
