Bible Verses to Encourage You Today 🤍

Hey guys!! During this time of worry, I want to share some encouraging bible verses with you guys that tie into what we are going through. I also want to help you understand them so I am putting a description of what these verses mean to me. I really want to encourage as many people as I can in this scary time. Just remember that the Lord is here for you. Reach out to him today! I hope these verses help you be more positive. :)

(The photo above is one I have taken)

Do everything without grumbling and arguing, so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world. - Philippians 2:14-15

Stop complaining. I know that what you are going through is hard. We are all going through a tough time right now. We need to remember to stop complaining, change our expressions, and just smile. It relieves a little bit of sadness, anger, and any other emotion you are feeling right now. :)

Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. - Philippians 4:6

Don't worry! God's got it all under control. He holds tomorrow and every day after. We need to remember to pray through all that is going on. Talk to God. Let him know how you feel. Present your requests to him.

Casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you. - 1 Peter 5:7

Cast your cares on the Lord! He cares about you and what's going on in your life. He wants to keep you safe, because you are special. Prayer is really important right now, because it's how we communicate with our Creator and tell him how we feel.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith. - Galatians 6:10

Whenever we have a chance to do a kind deed for our neighbors (meaning the whole world), DO IT! If you are able to get out of your house right now, leave a little treat or gift on their porch, or write them a kind note, send a text or email giving them some encouragement. We all need some more kindness in our lives.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9

Be strong, take courage, don't be afraid, for the Lord is here! He is everywhere. He can overcome this pandemic and strengthen us through it. God commands us all these things so listen to them.

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. -Deuteronomy 31:8

God will be with you. He NEVER abandons you and NEVER leaves you behind! Don't be scared, because he is here for you in every situation.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. - Psalm 4:8

The Lord provides peace. He alone keeps us completely safe. We don't need to worry, because he will protect us in times of distress.

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. - Psalm 56:3

When we are alarmed, we need to remember to have faith in our Father.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39

Nothing in the world can separate us from our Creator and his unfailing love. Not death, not life, not present or future, not coronavirus, nor anything else! His strong love for us will not break. He loves us so much that he was willing to die a horrible, painful, awful death. Now that's awesome and inspiring.
