July TCK Interview: Emily

Hey y'all! This month's TCK interview is with my awesome friend, Emily. She is so fun to hang around, has a great sense of humor, and there is no way for her to smile without yours to soon follow. She inspires me to be a better person. I hope that y'all enjoy this interview with her!

1. Siblings (gender & age)

I have two sisters. One is 15 and the other is 9.

2. The continent you live on

I live in Asia.

3. Home country

I am from America.

4. Type of school (national, international, homeschool, online school, etc)

I have homeschooled my whole life until this year, I am about to move to a new city and start an international school.

5. Age

I am thirteen.

6. How long you've lived in your host country

I have lived in my host country my entire life. My parents and my older sister moved there a year before I was born.

7. Great things about living overseas

I love living overseas because I get to meet all sorts of people. I also get to try different foods and experience different cultures.

8. One thing you miss about your home country

I miss my friends and family. I miss the food too.

9. Extracurriculars and hobbies

I love reading a lot.

10. How you communicate with your friends in your home country

I text and FaceTime them.

11. How old you were when you became a TCK

I was born overseas, so I have been a TCK all my life.

12. One hard thing about living overseas

It's hard to live overseas because it's hard to know where home is. Also because I miss my family and friends.

13. Favorite food from your home country

I love cheeseburgers and hotdogs. Mac & Cheese is the best though!
