Hey all! Wow it's been a while since I've sat down and written a post for you. I am so happy to be back writing on here! A lot of changes have happened, but I am excited to see the TCK Times' legacy continue. Many of you are probably approaching final exams (even faster than you would like to admit). I wanted to share some encouragement, advice, and a challenge as school gets increasingly crazy while the last projects are assigned. Everything gets stressful during the end of school and I wanted to remind you guys that you are not alone, the Lord will carry you through if you only put your trust and faith in Him.
Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” As Spring begins, the new life that has bloomed serves as a reminder to us as believers of the new life we have found in Christ. It is easy to grow weary in these last months of school. Instead, be refreshed and renewed in the Lord and His strength. Though often God can be pushed to the bottom of our priorities, especially in this season as the list becomes longer with class projects, due dates, and final exams, I challenge you to keep God first. Do not grumble about the work that is left - have we not learned from the Israelites? Do not grow anxious about the exams that approach - has God not commanded us to cast all anxiety on Him? Instead, trust in Him, find peace in Him, and be refreshed in Him. He is our strength to continue. Instead of wallowing in all the stress and worry, be renewed in the Lord through prayer and reliance. He will carry you through.
I hope you intentionally cast your anxiety, stress, and worry on God throughout the last of the school year. Bring your burdens to Him and He will give you peace beyond understanding.
Aliana :)
