Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be sharing a bit just about The TCK Times in general: basic facts, a bit about our writers, and stuff like that! What's the mission of The TCK Times?
Our mission and purpose here are to write articles for TCKs, share our TCK experiences, and connect TCKs across the world. A few other TCK blogs have been started because they were inspired by The TCK Times.
How/When did The TCK Times start?
In late 2017/early 2018, I (Kasey) realized that there weren't many blogs, magazines, or other things for TCKs. I tried to find some but ended up starting my own, The TCK Times.
Who writes for The TCK Times?
We have 5 writers for The TCK Times, get to know a bit about each of them below!
Kasey- I'm 14 years old, and the founder/editor of The TCK Times. I love to read, hang out with my friends, listen to music, and play games. I play soccer and basketball competitively for my school team. I've been a TCK for around 8 years, all in South Asia.
Aliana- Aliana is 13 years old, and she's a TCK who has lived her whole life in South Asia and is living in her passport country (the US) currently. She enjoys photography, writing, and reading and she absolutely loves to travel.
Heather- Heather is 13 years old and in addition to writing for The TCK Times, she runs A TCK Wonder, a podcast for TCKs. She's been a TCK for her whole life and is currently living in South Asia.
Indiana- Indiana is 13, and she's been a TCK for about a year and a half. She loves to read, bake, and work on her YouTube channel. She's spent her time as a TCK in South Asia.
Claire- Claire is 14 years old, and she is actually currently on a hiatus from writing for The TCK Times (but still part of our team!!). She loves to read, spend time with friends, bake, and film videos for her YouTube channel. She lives in Southeast Asia.
What type of articles are on The TCK Times?
We write about so many different topics: books, music, our own experiences, dealing with grief, and lots of other things. Aliana does a monthly TCK Interview for the blog.
