Dear friend,
We miss you already. Your smile, your uplifting words, your presence. You have impacted my life in so many ways, I don’t even know where to begin to express teh ways God has used you to touch my life. Girl, I am going to miss you like crazy.
I see you’re anxious and don’t know what the future will bring; but God has got this. You may be going across the ocean unto a place that feels like the big, great, unknown, but God will be right there with you, every step of the way. From right now, to the second you board that plane, to the moment you step on your new campus, the moment you start your new job, He is with you, and He has you. He is holding you and cradling you in the palm of His hand. Let His peace wash over you, let it wash your anxiety and fears away, trust Him. He has got this, even if it doesn’t feel like it. He is holding you, trust Him and take this leap of faith in confidence.
The God who holds your future is the God that told Jeremiah to not fear, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans not to harm you but to give you peace, plans to give you a hope and a future.”, He said.
As you say goodbye, know that the God of Jeremiah, Isaac and Jacob, your God, the God who sees you and knows everything about you, has an amazing plan ad great adventures ahead. Yes, it may be hard to leave, but He knows what He is doing, and will provide for your every need. don’t get me wrong, I would love for you to stay, but I know God is calling you to go somewhere else for the time being.
Let’s not think of it as goodbye, but as see you again soon, because ultimately, we will see each other again, whether it be in this life or the next.
Whatever you do, keep on seeking His face and loving Him. every single step of the way.
