Songs For (hard) Summer Transitions

Ah Summertime. That beautiful time of the year where vacation plans are put into action, homework schedules are empty, and the sun shines a little too brightly. ;) Summer is pretty awesome but it also has it's drawbacks, especially for TCK's. More often than not Summer is a time of transition. Activities end, people change, and hardest of all, are the summers when friends leave or when you have to leave your friends.

As a TCK, summer isn't always easy but thankfully we have a loving God who helps us through our rough Junes and Julys and walks beside us in our grief, joy, and anticipation of what's to come. So in this article, instead of writing an article like I usually would, I want to share a list of songs that have either helped me with transitions in the past or present, or simply struck me as encouraging. So here are 10 songs for hard summer transitions. (You can find a playlist with all of these songs here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkZkag6HD6BOaTkLjbyW7iEiXtXrHbHM7 on our YouTube channel.

Until next time!

~Willow
